Is it possible to create a laser display system using a rotating disk, fiber optic cables, and a screen?


I am imagining a system where a laser source is attached to a disk that rotates around its axis, producing a circular laser beam in the vertical plane. The beam intersects with a ring of fiber optic cables that are arranged around the disk and connected to a screen. The laser source can modulate the beam according to an input signal. Would this system be able to project the input signal onto the screen? Could this system be scaled up by using multiple laser sources on the same disk?
